'We will certainly be returning'
A big thank you for our Christmas Party last night. The Food was lovely and we will certainly be returning. It was really well organised, the staff are lovely and helpful, the pub is so nice and the Christmas decorations were really nice too, I couldnt fault anything. Thank you again. The best restaurant on the A64
Having dismissed all dining establishments on any major tourist route many years ago my expectations were totally misguided. I am very happy to say that in every element I was totally surprised in the most pleasant of fashions. The decor is themeed but very well done, the menu is of much higher quality than I could have considered, the presentation is well above expectations, the range is outstanding, the attention to detail quite simply akin to that of an establishment deserving of AA recognition. We arrived unannounced, 38 of us, the service we recieved considering this was superb. The location is fantastic if like us you have a large group from all over the north meeting up, equally if you are travelling to or from the east coast it is the best restaurant I have visited in 30 years on the A64.
